In Shanghai APPPEXPO 2019, Ricoh launched the next generation MH5320/5340 GEN6 printhead. And orders will be accepted worldwide from April 1.

There are three different GEN6 print head, that is RICOH MH5320, RICOH MH5340, RICOH MH5320 Type A, featuring high quality, productivity, and longevity. (See the detailed specifications at the end of the article)

The new printhead will be launched as the higher specification of Ricoh MH5420/5440 and Ricoh MH5421/5441. Minimized 5pl droplet size and improved spray accuracy yield excellent print quality without a granular feel. In addition, the highest frequency of the gray level is 50kHz, which can improve productivity.

Each print head has enhanced adhesion technology for increased durability. With these new features, the RICOH MH5320/5340/5320 A further enhances its compatibility with UV, solvent and water-based inks. In particular, MH5320 water-based ink compatibility and service life is more than twice the previous MH5421.

In the industrial printing market for sign graphics and textiles, there is a growing trend to meet a variety of customer needs, such as smaller batches and shorter lead times. This provides greater flexibility and productivity, and increased demand for inkjet print head to achieve high-resolution printing and higher productivity.
